The Universal Internet

No matter what the canon is, what time it takes place in, or what kind of tech it has, there is a means to connect to a universal internet in which you can chat with people from other worlds, comment on their Facebook statuses or make one of your own, ect. Make a tumblr, Twitter, e-mail, or just message someone on AIM.

Prompts: (if you need ideas or whatever!)
1. Ever wonder how your space friend has been doing with their whole "saving the world from parasitic aliens" mission? Or that person you spoke to once who was on a quest to rescue a princess from a cannibalistic tribe of barbarians? E-mail them!

2. That person you spoke to once was pretty interesting and you really hit it off. Oh look, they're online. Hit 'em up on AIM and ask them how they're doing, what their plans are, or make small talk about how everything around wants to kill you both. It's nice to have common ground with someone.

3. Someone just made a Facebook status about how much they hate cleaning ogre guts off their armor. You relate to that, maybe you should comment! (Pretend your characters don't even have to have one another added to see statuses if you want, GO CRAZY WITH IT.) Alternatively maybe your alien girlfriend just laid eggs and you're super happy to be a father/mother of one hundred, go let the world know! ~~And post pictures~~

YOU GET THE IDEA, if there's something internet related you want your characters to do that wasn't mentioned just go ahead and do it, these are just ideas. SO YEAH HAVE AT IT. Just mention somewhere what your character is using to avoid confusion!
